THIS JOB OFFER PRESENTS A PROJECT MANAGER POSITION THAT WILL NOT BE LOCATED IN A SPECIFIC AREA, BUT WILL ROTATE BETWEEN EPC PROJECTS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES/GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS.

Our client is a multinational company with a globally recognised presence, which belongs to the Integral Water Cycle sector, building infrastructures that make a positive contribution to environmental sustainability.

They are seeking to onboard a Project Manager who will report to the Project Director and manage a team of a team of managers belonging to the different areas: planning, costs, contracts, engineering, purchasing, etc.

This individual will be responsible for managing the planning, execution and closure of infrastructure projects in the Integral Water Cycle sector at an international level, meeting the established objectives through the appropriate management of internal and external resources.

ROLE

• Collaborate with the Project Manager for the proper development of the project in all its phases.
• Coordinate and lead the performance of the various project departments/areas to meet contract specifications, cost and schedule targets.
• Continuously manage and control project planning and budgets for accurate estimates and preventive actions.
• Actively participate in the contractual and risk management of the project, including the development and resolution of claims.
• Read and interpret contracts, subcontracts and technical specifications.
• Lead and manage the team to meet established objectives.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, checking that safety, environmental and quality management systems are adequate.
• Actively participate in problem solving and implementation of corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the team and attend client meetings.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience leading EPC projects, especially in the Water sector.
• Knowledge of good construction practices and standards.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.

LANGUAGES

• High level of English.
